Hello!

My name is Elizabeth, I am the cake decorating specialist here at Turkey and the Toad Café and Cakery! I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in Waukesha, WI. I'm married and have two amazing boys who are all grown up. I'm creative and artistic in everything I do. Besides decorating cakes, I also enjoy making jewelry, coloring, and doing various arts and crafts.

The start of my baking/decorating journey began in 1998 at a Piggly Wiggly in Hartland, WI. Frying donuts and icing them was my first job there. Then I moved up to baking all the rolls and bread. In 2003, I became their cake decorator full-time.

Being the creative and artistic person I am and learning the basics of cake decorating from my mother-in-law, it took off from there with no additional schooling. Other places I have spent time cake decorating include “Cakes While U Wait” for 10 years and “Beach Bum Bakery” for 5 years. I also make cakes from home for my family and friends. Decorating cakes is really what I enjoy doing most!

My favorite cakes to decorate are weddings, birthdays, communions, confirmations, all holidays, and any cakes that include vintage piping. I've done so many, I have lost count!
